Admired for “meticulous guidance, superb musicianship and extraordinarily imaginative interpretation” (Performing Arts Monterey Bay), Mr. Khudyev has worked with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra and Frankfurt Opera Orchestra of Germany, Danish National Symphony Orchestra of Denmark, Seattle Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Dallas Symphony, San Diego Symphony, Monterey Symphony, Champaign-Urbana Symphony, Yale Philharmonia, Yale Symphony Orchestra, Greenwich Village Orchestra of New York City, New Jersey Youth Symphony, Manhattan School of Music Orchestra, National Orchestra of Turkmenistan, George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra of Romania, Xi’an Symphony Orchestra of China and the State Taipei Chinese Orchestra of Taiwan.





ABOUT
The Texas Conducting Workshop will be held at the University of Texas at Arlington and is meant to foster the development of conducting and teaching skills for orchestra directors of all levels. Up to twenty conductors will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. An unlimited number of auditing positions are also available.
TCW is designed to help professional teachers improve their conducting skills so they can become even more expressive, effective educators. We also welcome student conductors and aspiring teachers to register so they can study conducting on an advanced level, further preparing them for the challenges they will face in the classroom.
There will be a number of presentations on other related topics, including Score Study, Right and Left Hand Independence, Rehearsal Techniques, etc.
